Despite the rain overnight, the road to launch was open and everything had dried out.
The day was developing fast, so there was a short task called. By the time the pilots got in the air, the big black clouds had started to rain. About fifteen of the field packed up on launch as the rain started and were unable to drive down the slippery wet road, so had to walk down, leaving around ten vehicles on the hill, although the rain was fairly short-lived and had stopped by early afternoon.
The afternoon was spent in the Royal pub with a BBQ put on by Vic and Tom in the evening.
