Morning winds were from the west suggesting a Mt Tamborine launch. However, an easterly change occurred after only 14 pilots had
launched preventing the rest of the field from launching. This limited the maximum score for the day to 125 out of a possible
1000 using the GAP scoring system. However an Australian Competitions Manual rule stating that on the third valid round, 80% of
the pilots needed time to launch. As there was only 30 minutes of launchable air the day was declared invalid. Final scores
after Day 3 are still the final scores.
