For
those in the know and for those who have never had the opportunity to
experience it, Canungra has some of the best and most diverse flying
sites anywhere. You can get the best of both worlds flying the Classic,
mountain and flat land flying all in one day! Takeoff looking over the
Gold Coast and Hinterland, then fly over the The Great Dividing Range
and into the big air of the flat lands. That's
why this we are very proud to say that the 2011 Canungra Classic has
been sponsored by the Canungra Hotel and more importantly has received
AAA status by the competitions committee and the HGFA.
