Come flying at the World's best foot launching sites 13th October – 20th October 2007

Come and start off the 2007 season with some of the best flying this side of the Moon! The picturesque Hinterland of South East QLD at this time of the year can produce the unstable conditions that saw many of last year's pilots breaking PB's and cracking the 200km milestone. 

With most of the national team and a strong International contingent expected again this year, you not only get the opportunity to learn from or compete with the 'guns' but also to compete against your peers in the Best of the Rest category. The institution that is 'Red Faces' will be even better this year with the move of the HQ back to the better suited Moriarty Hall.

'Best of the Rest' Category

Once again the Classic will be including the 'Best of the Rest' category for Australian pilots who are not in the top 20 on the National Ladder (current at start of competition). 

Entry Details:

• Competition Dates: 13th October – 20th Oct 2007
• Register online: http://www.hgfa.asn.au/~registration/index.php
• Registration Friday the 12th October (not Saturday morning).
• Entry fee $180 ($210 if paid after August the 31st) + $40 site fees. GPS mandatory.
• EFT Payment info contact Regan
• Paragliders, Floaters and Intermediates welcome. Maximum entrants 75 Hang Gliders + 10 Paragliders. The floater section (including Paragliders) may have separate scoring and sometimes separate tasks. The floater section is currently not sanctioned for HGFA ladder points
• Please note, your place in the comp is only secured after payment has been received
